Hotel Fine Linens

One asked why so much thought in buying a piece of hotel for their beds? A major and perhaps most important reason is their guests. Business and leisure have gradually become more demanding, which have increased their level and more and more people want their next room to have the same amenities they have in their bed at home. In my opinion the new minimum standard for a 3 star hotel and bed sheet T180; T180 certainly means that the sheet contains 180 threads per square inch. The hotel industry has been considered and been quick to pick up on this trend and has acted accordingly. It is now common to find in its 3, 4 and 5 star properties 200 thread count cotton polyester blend, T250 and T300 hotel sheets. In fact the hotel industry has recognized and made the bed of one of the most important components and facilities of the room, which makes total sense. Think about it, the bed and sheets are very intimate; the leaves are something the host used to cover his body, like clothes they need to adapt, be soft and comfortable.
Another need that the hotel industry has picked up on obvious need is the need to relax and get a good night's rest, whether you're a tourist or business you want to relax and sleep well. Many of us have experienced all too often thin or hard sheets, pillows too soft or too hard, usually at the worst possible moment, then brushed her teeth, we got into bed and ready to call it a night. A comfortable soft sheet can be the difference between a good nights rest and a bad night pulling and turning. Hotels and bed sheets incorporate more threads have bragging rights and can advertise this service successfully. The business traveler will be quick to pick up on these facilities because if someone needs a good nights rest after a long day is the business traveler. We high thread-count sheets, flat bed fitted white and beige colors for all bed sizes.
The other question I get often from many customers particularly with new properties is how many sheets to order, on this subject I always recommend a minimum of three laps sheets and pillowcases. What do they mean 3 turns? The first round means a complete set going in bed; the second round will be the one on the shelf waiting to be used to change the first round and the third round will be washed in the laundry room. Having three laps should always have a set of clean sheets available. In my next article I will talk about the hotel mattress pad, often overlooked but very important.
